Financial Manager/CFO

Mendocino Transit Authority has an immediate opening for a senior level financial manager and CFO in rural Ukiah, CA, who ideally has experience with rural public transit organizations.  Skills needed include:  accounting and managerial experience, excellent communications and people skills, and experience with government budgets and grants.  This position works with auditors, Caltrans, state and county agencies.  Job overview: Assess trends and legislation, forecast revenues, prepare reports for year-end closing, annual budget and other.  Manage depreciation schedule, accounts receivable and payable, manage payroll and benefits, and participate in board meetings.  This position manages and has the support of the FTE of 1.5 staff.

Pay is dependent upon experience:  $75.2K – $85.7K & great benefits for college grad with minimum 5-7 years of experience.
